Lido

The Lido of Venice is a thin island that extends for about 12 km between the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea, bordered by the ports of San Nicolò and Malamocco. The opportunities offered by the Lido beach are varied, from the free beaches of San Nicolò and the Alberoni, characterized by the natural fauna habitat of the ancient sand dunes, to the rocks of the murazzi and the bathing establishments of the central part of the island, characterized by the typical huts, large cabins with veranda and awning added to the closed structure, which carry the characteristic colors of the establishment to which they belong. The center of the island is characterized by liberty style architecture, pleasant tree-lined avenues for walks to discover the island. In the main street, Santa Maria Elisabetta it is possible to find numerous shops, restaurants and shops and it is possible to rent bicycles with which to visit the island and make excursions to the discovery of the Malamocco vcina or the island of Pellestrina.
